[OOC] Everything Goes Meme
Clint has hit 1k! At the same time, I have also injured my middle finger. So Slow-hiatus for me.
But you can use this to start asking me stuff! I play Dean Winchester, Leto Atreides the II, James T. Kirk, Yuri Lowell, Stefan Salvatore, Sherlock Holmes, Rex Salazar, Optimus Prime, Scott Summers, Renjou Hotsuma andHot Guy Hawkeye
Give me things to do while I nurse myself back to health.

...Loki likes Clint.
And hates him and almost--not fears but...kind of uncomfortable around him. Because I don't think he actually expected Clint to be freed from the hold on his mind, whether or not he expected Clint to stay free/survive the attack on the helicarier, so I do feel like Loki most likely allowed himself to be seen as vulnerable. He'd have been careful not to let that happen with the enemies of SHIELD, whoever they were using, because anyone that is bought can be bought, and showing weakness to people you're supposed to be leading is just a bad idea. And Selvig was busy and who the fuck knows what happened to that other SHIELD agent Loki took at the beginning... ANYWAY. (I'm sorry, I get distracted by my own thoughts a lot.)
Clint knows too much about Loki and what he's like and it's...not good. Loki doesn't exactly want to appear human to the, well. humans. and Clint's tasted Loki's mind and really, I don't think Loki's really all there, by Avengers. And having a conversational partner ("partner") who is bound to...not betray him is safe. Selvig's busy, so Clint's who he had! Even if it was just him having Clint give up personal information about Natasha, and details about the other (potential) Avengers and SHIELD, it's still like... For once, in Loki's life, someone is paying attention to him. And it's true and it's horrible, what Clint was saying in our current thread! That he's probably one of very very few who knows Loki, or could get to know him. Loki doesn't like that very much.
So with Clint in camp, Loki pretty much tries...pretty desperately, really, to maintain the air of being all-knowing and all-powerful and essentially kind of...other... Especially because he's aware of how much he unsettles Clint, he uses that to his advantage. And at the same time, contradictorily, he's still most willing to show his weaknesses to Clint rather than, say, Coulson.
...idk... I just babbled a lot.
THOUGHTS ON WHAT I JUST SAID??
I feel like I play a very just-surface version of Loki in camp, because I'm so much more afraid of fucking things up and also because he has so much more to lose in camp than he does when I play him in BS... BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE I'M SO MUCH MORE AFRAID OF FUCKING THINGS UP.

As for liking Clint, Clint is weirdly likeable and nice and offers things like second chances and happy endings. It's hard NOT to like him when you know that much about his personality, like his history with Natasha.
Hmmm. Plans?

pretty, though!
and mostly I just kinda wanna see where they can go. like...if they end up finding some sort of neutral ground or if it just gets even more antagonistic or...idk! I just feel like, though there are things about every single Avenger that Loki can bond with (I READ A LOT OF LOKI-CENTRIC SHIPPY FIC, STFU), from a camp perspective (just a platonic one not necessarily romantic!!) I think Clint and Loki have a lot of potential to go in any number of ways and it's interesting!
although we may need to depend more on forced interactions as time passes...
WHAT ABOUT YOU '-'

I think, due to the head-messed-around stuff, Clint is always going to be ... drawn to Loki, one way or another. He can't just ignore what Loki has done. It's interesting that when they corner Loki in the end, Clint's the only person drawing his weapon. For Clint, he feels he has the most stake in Loki's life and death. He wants to be the one to judge, even though he knows it's not his call and going down that road... well, he'll lose himself a bit on that road. He's not Nat or Fury, he can't do grudges.
Forced interactions are a go, yeah. Clint is still surprised that Loki turned his back to him to begin with, but finding out that he was already pegged somewhat to be a soldier was ... disheartening really. He's starting to hate himself a bit, for having a heart, for having weaknesses he knows he can't help having. And while Nat has assured him that he's fine the way he is, he has yet to come to terms with it and he feels that going through Loki is the way to do it. SOME... HOW.
Loki on SHIELD?

Do you think Clint would actually kill Loki if given the chance? Say, uh... They're alone, just them, no one else around to judge him either way, Loki's weak or injured or whatever, Clint has a clear shot and they both know that if he takes it, Loki'll die.

Hm, list the Avengers Loki would kill, from first to last.

ASSUMING NO EXTRA KNOWLEDGE/BONDING/IDK just as of the end of Avengers+...camp...?
Hulk
Natasha
Steve
Bruce
Tony
Clint
Thor
HULK AND BRUCE ARE DIFFERENT cause Loki's chatted a bit with Bruce and it's not like these are evenly spaced on the scale okay.
Why didn't Clint just let the arrow loose when Loki presented his back?
no subject
- not interested in dying
- was kind of shocked that he actually did it.
- didn't want to be the guy who shot arrows at people's backs.
That's pretty much it! Plus Coulson told him not to retaliate so he's clinging onto that order at the moment. Does Loki have any questions about camp and the Avengers? Things he just wants to know?
no subject
IT'S A LITTLE HARD TO THINK OF THINGS OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD :(((
but yes he does have things he wants to know :|a
does clint have anything he wants to know about/of/from loki that he hasn't asked already?
no subject
- what did he do to Nat
- was there any point in having him at all mr. I'm better than humans!!
- What did he plan to do with him afterwards
- why he asked about his life to begin with.
Stuff like that! And so on.
Lesse. One scenario you want to play out somehow.

but if possible, I'd love to see what would happen if they were allied. not necessarily permanently, but just for long enough that they'd have to work together and it might remind them of during-the-movie and it might just be rough edges grating against one another but... I'd love to see what might come out of it.
YOU?
